Tom Kummerow

Tom Kummerow, CFA, is a portfolio manager at QIC, where responsibilities have included trading and analysis since January 2018. Previous roles at QIC encompass trader, portfolio associate, and analyst within the Liquid Markets Group, along with a position as a risk and compliance analyst and experience as an investment risk intern. Prior to QIC, Tom Kummerow gained finance experience as an intern at Boeing Defence Australia, focusing on forecasting, planning, and analysis. Earlier in a diverse career, Tom Kummerow worked as a carpenter at Malone Builders, and as a rig hand at Wild Desert Oil and Gas Services, starting as an apprentice carpenter at Dobson Projects. Tom Kummerow holds a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Finance and Quantitative Economics from Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate III in Carpentry from TAFE Queensland.
