Alan Bates

Alan Bates serves as the Senior Executive Director of Master Development Projects at Qiddiya since February 2024. Prior to this role, Alan Bates held various executive positions at Lendlease from July 2014 to February 2024, including Executive General Manager of Development Operations and Construction, overseeing operations in London. Alan Bates also served as Executive General Manager at Lend Lease and Project Director, managing the Athlete's Village project during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Sponsor for the Olympic Delivery Authority, Senior Regeneration Manager at English Partnerships, Waterway Manager at British Waterways, and Bridge Engineer at Lancashire County Council. Alan Bates holds a First Class Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
