Michael Hapka has extensive experience in the entertainment and venue management sectors, having held significant leadership roles since the late 1990s. Notably, Michael served as Managing Director of The O2 World in Berlin from 2013 to 2015 and as VP & CEO of Anschutz Entertainment Group Berlin from 2015 to 2020, overseeing operations at the Mercedes-Benz Arena and its entertainment district, Mercedes Platz. Aspria was led by Michael as CEO from 2002 to 2012, and prior to that, Michael worked at Air Service Berlin and X-Phone Marketing. Currently, Michael is the Executive Director of Arena Development at Qiddiya, tasked with creating an innovative destination city. Additionally, from 2020 to 2024, Michael was a Senior Management Consultant at MNH Management Consulting International, focusing on strategic development and sustainability initiatives. Michael holds a degree in Betriebswirtschaft from The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
