Bob Ball

Bob Ball possesses extensive experience in naval architecture and engineering, holding various senior roles since September 2014 at QinetiQ, including Chief Engineer MSCA, Principal Naval Architect, and Programme Manager for Structures and Survivability. Prior to QinetiQ, Bob served as Principal Naval Architect at Babcock Energy and Marine Technology and held the position of SSMG Constructive Design Manager at Babcock International Group PLC. Bob's career in the Ministry of Defence spanned two decades, during which multiple roles were undertaken, including Naval Architect/Project Manager and portfolio manager for ship engineering support. Education credentials include an MBA from The University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Naval Architecture from UCL, complemented by a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
