Chris Newbold is the Head of Analysis & Mission Solutions at QinetiQ Ltd, having previously led a substantial team of approximately 350 engineers, scientists, and technicians in data analysis and simulation from 2016 to 2022. Prior to this role, Chris served as the Lead Principal Engineer in Flight Physics, where responsibilities included team strategy development, quality control of technical outputs, and customer relationship management from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, Chris held the role of Capability Leader for Civil Aircraft Aerodynamics and has experience as a Project Supervisor at Aircraft Research Association Ltd. Chris earned a BA Hons in Engineering from the University of Cambridge from 1985 to 1988 and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Surrey.
