Daniel Reid

Daniel Reid is an accomplished professional in systems engineering and future technologies, currently serving as Team Leader for Future Technologies & Systems Engineering at QinetiQ since November 2022. With a strong background in research and product development, Daniel previously held roles such as Product Development Team Leader at a Defence Contractor and Senior Research Scientist at Invinity Energy Systems plc, focusing on innovative energy storage solutions. Daniel completed a PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in Energy Storage at the University of Surrey, after earning an MChem in Chemistry at the same institution. Additional experience includes a year as a Chemist at BP and various roles during university. Daniel's expertise spans project leadership, material development, and advanced research methodologies.
