David Baker

David Baker has extensive experience in technical assurance and management within the defense and technology sectors, primarily at QinetiQ since July 2001. Currently serving as Head of Technical Excellence Delivery Assurance, David oversees various technical assurance activities across the company. Throughout David's career at QinetiQ, key roles have included Director of Technical Excellence for Projects, Technical Director for Cyber Information and Training, C4ISTAR, IDS, and C&IS, where responsibilities encompassed technical assurance, governance, and innovation. Prior experience includes a position as Business Group Manager at DERA, focusing on Land Command and Control systems. David holds a degree in Physics from The University of Manchester, obtained between 1980 and 1983.
