David Tilly

David Tilly is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the Head of Uncrewed Systems at QinetiQ since November 2017. Prior to this role, Tilly held the position of Director Modification Services at Vector Aerospace, where responsibilities included leading a business unit focused on designing cost-effective modifications for civil and military aircraft. Tilly also served as Head of Aviation Services at Vector Aerospace, providing strategic direction for the Aviation Services Business Unit. Earlier experience includes the role of Aviation Services Director at QinetiQ, overseeing aviation managed services. Tilly possesses an MSc with Distinction in Aerospace Design, Manufacture and Management from the University of Bristol and a BEng(Hons) in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science.
