Emma Wright

Emma Wright is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in both academic and corporate environments. Currently serving as a Project Manager at QinetiQ since August 2023, Emma has previously held significant roles including ESRC Impact Acceleration Account Project Officer and Project Manager for the Future AI and Robotics for Space Hub at the University of Surrey from April 2018 to August 2023. Prior project management experience includes positions at Mercer Sirota and Sirota, where Emma facilitated employee engagement surveys for multinational clients. Emma's career began in research roles, notably at QinetiQ, where responsibilities spanned from Intellectual Property Management to Research Scientist, contributing to developments in multiple material disciplines. Emma holds a PhD in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells from Keele University and a BEng in Materials Science from the University of Leeds, further complemented by MSP Practitioner certification in Programme Management.
