James Brown is a seasoned radio frequency design expert at QinetiQ since March 2012, specializing in radio frequency computer-aided design and RFID antenna development for defense applications. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Development Manager at Omni-ID from July 2007 to March 2012, where James was the inventor of core surface-insensitive passive UHF RFID tag technology, overseeing all technical development processes and managing the technical team. Previous to this, James worked as a Senior Scientist at QinetiQ Ltd. from November 2000 to July 2007. Academically, James holds a PhD in Physics from The University of Exeter and a BSc with Honours in Physics from The University of Warwick, along with A-levels in physics, mathematics, and geography from The Longdean School.
