John Findley has extensive experience in software safety and assurance, currently serving as a Software Safety Assurance Specialist at QinetiQ since 1998, where responsibilities include leading a team of software safety engineers for the Chinook project. In addition to this role, John has been involved with another company since September 2015 and previously worked as a software and systems safety consultant at NATS from September 2015 to September 2018. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Safety Critical Systems Engineering from the University of York, obtained between 2010 and 2012, and a BEng (Hons) in Digital Systems Engineering from the University of Sunderland, completed from 1984 to 1988.
