Malcolm MacLeod

Malcolm Macleod is a prominent figure in the fields of engineering and research, currently serving as a Senior Fellow and Friend of QinetiQ, as well as the Chief Scientist for Research and Innovation and Dean of Fellows at the same organization since November 2002. In addition, Malcolm has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde since 2007 and served as Music Director for the Ledbury Choral Society from September 2005 to July 2019. Prior experience includes a significant role as Director of Research in the Engineering Department at the University of Cambridge from October 1988 to November 2002, and earlier positions at Cambridge Consultants as an Engineer, Group Leader, and Consultant from 1978 to 1988. Malcolm Macleod earned a BA, MA, and PhD in Electrical Sciences from the University of Cambridge between 1971 and 1977, specializing in Digital Signal Processing.
