Mark Ollerton

Mark Ollerton has extensive experience in embedded systems and project management, currently serving as the Land Systems Open Architectures Group Lead at QinetiQ since August 2013. Prior to this role, Mark worked as an Embedded Systems Team Manager at Renesas Mobile Corporation, focusing on wireless systems software development, core system architecture, and real-time operating systems. Mark's career includes roles as an Embedded Systems Engineer and Project Manager at MediaTek and Analog Devices, contributing to significant project developments in wireless technology and silicon support. Earlier experience includes positions at TTPCom, where Mark led projects in client support and GSM software development, and at DERA, where Mark was involved in the integration of vehicle electronic systems and the creation of the MilCAN LAN protocol standard. Mark holds an M.Sc. in Data Communications Systems from Brunel University of London and a B.Eng. in Electronic & Communications Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
