Matthew Guy

Matthew Guy has extensive experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. Matthew is currently working at QinetiQ as the Group Director of Internal Audit and previously served as the Group Director of Risk & Governance. Before joining QinetiQ, they held various positions at GAME Digital PLC, Kingfisher plc, Merlin Entertainments plc, Global Radio, and Ernst & Young. These roles included Head of Business Assurance & Data Protection Officer, Group Internal Audit Manager, Head of Internal Audit, and Group Internal Auditor. Matthew's career spans over 25 years, with a focus on auditing and risk management roles in a variety of industries.

Matthew Guy attended the Wyvern School, Fair Oak from 1986 to 1991. Matthew then studied at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College from 1991 to 1994. Following that, Matthew obtained a BSc Hons degree in Building Surveying from the University of the West of England from 1994 to 1995. Matthew furthered their education by completing a program at the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) from 1996 to 1998. Lastly, Matthew pursued Accounting and Finance studies at ACCA from 1998 to 2001.
