Norman Brown is an experienced security professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades in various advisory and management roles. Currently serving as Assistant Director for Security Policy, Training, and Culture at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade since January 2024, Norman has also held the position of Principal Security Consultant at QinetiQ since December 2020. Previous roles include Agency Security Adviser at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and Senior Specialist Security at MMG Limited. Norman's extensive career at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 2010 to 2018 included positions such as Assistant Director - Overseas Security Adviser, First Secretary - Regional Security Adviser, and First Secretary - Security Liaison.
