Simon Pierce

Simon Pierce is an experienced engineer with a strong background in simulation and modeling, currently serving as a Simulation & Modelling Engineer at BAE Systems and QinetiQ on a contract basis since 2023. Previously, Simon held the position of Principal Systems Engineer at MBDA UK LIMITED, leading a team focused on delivering models and real-time software for sensor systems. Earlier work includes roles as a Real-time Software Engineer at McLaren Applied Technologies, where Simon supported motorsport ECUs and Formula E battery operations, and as a Senior Software Engineer at MBDA, where Simon began with embedded software development. Simon's professional journey started with a Graduate Engineering Programme at MBDA, following a BMath degree from the University of York. Additional experience includes work in security and IT technician roles, showcasing a diverse skill set.
