Stuart Ford

Stuart Ford is an experienced Program Manager currently working at QinetiQ since July 2023. Previously, Stuart held the same title at Nuclear Waste Services from October 2020 to July 2023. During an extensive tenure at the UK Ministry of Defence from November 2013 to October 2020, Stuart served as Deputy Head of the UK Programme Manager TEUTATES, overseeing the joint UK/French Hydrodynamic facility in Valduc, and as Deputy Head of Nuclear Threat Reduction, managing various nuclear threat reduction initiatives. Additionally, Stuart acted as Private Secretary to the MOD Chief Scientific Adviser at the UK Ministry of Defence - British Defence Staff in Washington for part of 2015. Stuart's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee and a Bachelor's degree in Immunology from the University of Glasgow. Stuart is furthering professional development with a Level 4 Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and has certifications in Managing Successful Programmes from Axelos.
