Paul Carpenter

Paul Carpenter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology management and intellectual property development. Currently serving as a Partner at QipWorks since January 2018, Paul previously held prominent roles at BlackBerry, including Head of Technology, IP Development and Standards, where a global team managed a significant patent portfolio ranked 4th in the IEEE Patent Power survey. With a rich background that includes leadership in standardization and innovation at Lucent Technologies and Racal Communications Systems, Paul has contributed to critical advancements in wireless networks and VoIP services. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary University of London, an MBA in Engineering Management from the University of Bradford, and multiple engineering degrees from the University of Leeds.
