QLaw Foundation of Washington promotes the dignity and respect of 2SLGBTQIA+ Washingtonians within the legal system through advocacy, education, and free legal services.

We provide direct legal support through community-centered clinics, limited representation, peer navigation, and resource referrals across issue areas including family law, gender-affirming legal needs, housing stability, estate planning, and access to healthcare. Our work ensures that queer and trans people—especially QTBIPOC, low-income, immigrant, disabled, and rural community members—can access timely, affirming legal support.

Beyond direct services, QLaw advances systemic change through policy advocacy, impact litigation, and coalition partnerships across movements including reproductive justice, immigrant rights, housing justice, and economic equity. We believe legal advocacy must be rooted in lived experience and collective power.

As demand for services continues to grow across Washington State, QLaw remains committed to building the infrastructure, partnerships, and protections necessary to defend and expand justice for our communities.

We envision a future where no 2SLGBTQIA+ person faces barriers to authentic living, safety, or equality before the law.
