James Harvey

James has 20+ years of experience building and taking software to market. Before joining QLess, James was the SVP of Engineering & Cloud Operations at SuccessFactors (SAP’s biggest cloud business) where he managed product development and cloud operations at scale. Within 18 months, James and his team returned SuccessFactors to double-digit revenue growth and improved customer renewal rates by 10%.

Prior to joining SuccessFactors, James was the General Manager of CA Technologies where he worked in conjunction with mentor and former CEO of Taleo, Mike Gregoire, to reposition the company and drive business growth. James led the execution of a $480M acquisition with Rally Software.

Before accepting his position at CA Technologies, James earned his product management and sales stripes as the General Manager of Taleo, where he lead the growth and development of the company’s primary growth engine – Taleo Performance.

When he’s not in the office, James enjoys doing all-things outdoor recreation with his wife, Ally, and their four children.
