Ben Saunders

Ben Saunders is a highly experienced professional in the fields of data integration, geoscience, and technology innovation. Currently serving as the Competitive Intelligence Manager for Data Integration at Qlik, Ben also holds the position of Technology Evangelist within the Global Innovation & Excellence Team. Prior to Qlik, Ben worked at Talend, where responsibilities included providing solutions and advice on data infrastructures and serving as Technology Evangelist and Lead Solutions Engineer. Ben's background includes significant roles at Halliburton, such as Manager of Assisted Interpretation and Product Manager, focusing on machine learning applications in geology and geophysics, as well as data integration across global geoscience databases. Previous experience includes positions at Neftex Petroleum Consultants, Barrick Gold Corporation, Stratex International, Anglo American, and Rio Tinto, with a solid foundation in geology established through an MGeol degree from the University of Southampton.
