Charles Potter

Charles (Mike) Potter is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Qlik since January 2014, where leadership encompasses product development, research, design, SaaS, security, and IT/Data initiatives on a global scale. Prior to this role, Charles held significant positions at IBM from April 2009 to June 2013, including Director of Development for Business Intelligence and the Cognos Platform, overseeing a large team and managing comprehensive software development processes. With earlier experience at Cognos, Charles served as Chief Architect of Cognos Products and Associate Vice President of Engineering, leading multi-disciplined teams in key areas such as Master Data Management. Charles’s academic background includes a Master of Computer Science and a Bachelor of Computer Science, both from the University of Ottawa.
