Karl Blomquist

Karl Blomquist is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and research and development across multiple companies. Currently serving as Staff Technical Lead at Qlik since November 2016, Karl focuses on QIX QCS Engine R&D and Distributed QIX R&D. Prior roles include Embedded Software Engineer at Cisco, where responsibilities involved software and system engineering in the embedded Linux domain; System/Software Engineer Lead at Avaya, delivering advanced IP/VoIP solutions; and Software Lead and Architect at Nortel Networks, focusing on service delivery across various platforms. Karl also founded Geodesic Telesoft Inc., managing recruitment and contract services, and holds a BCSH in Computer Science from Acadia University.
