Matt Oehler

Matt Oehler is a seasoned machine learning engineer currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Qlik since December 2021, where responsibilities include work in R&D for Qlik AutoML. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Progressive Leasing, focusing on data to detect and prevent customer fraud, as well as positions at OrderBoard, Inc. and University of Utah Health, where data science skills were applied in recruiting and internship capacities, respectively. Oehler has also contributed as a Research Assistant at BYU Statistics and the BYU Math Department, employing advanced data processing techniques in sports analytics and document classification.
