Sam Pierson

Sam Pierson is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Qlik since March 2022, Sam has also held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Talend from April 2022 to May 2023. Prior to that, Sam was with Illuminate Education, Inc. as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Engineering, and at Datica as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Additional experience includes progressive engineering roles at SPS Commerce, Veritas Technologies LLC, Symantec, and an academic background as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. Sam holds a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from the University of Minnesota.
