Scott Thorburn

Scott Thorburn is an experienced marketing and demand generation professional with a robust track record in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Sr Director of Cloud Platform Go-to-Market at Qlik since July 2021, Scott has previously held significant positions including VP of Marketing at GFI Software and CMO at both Torochain Financial and Fusebill. During a long tenure at IBM from 2008 to 2016, Scott led global brand and content marketing efforts for Power Systems and drove demand generation strategies for Business Analytics, consistently exceeding marketing pipeline coverage targets. Scott’s early career includes key roles in companies such as Cognos, where demand generation strategies resulted in record pipeline growth, and Corel Corporation, where Scott focused on B2B and B2C marketing initiatives. Scott holds a BA degree from Carleton University, earned in 1998.
