Val Botnari is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in infrastructure security. Currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer at Qlik since August 2024, Val has previously held significant positions at IMG ARENA as a Principal Security Engineer, and at WorldRemit and Smart Communications as a Senior Security Engineer. Val's career began at Thunderhead, where roles included Security Engineer and QA Engineer, followed by QA Engineer positions at PeoplePerHour.com and Webfusion. Val's technical foundation was established with an engineering degree in Computers from the Technical University “Gh. Asachi,” completed in 2005.
