Eric Hosick

Eric Hosick has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Their most recent role is as a Senior Director of Backend Engineering at Qloo, where they started in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at MagicBell as a Developer from December 2021 to July 2022.

In 2021, Eric served as the Senior Director of Backend Engineering at Qloo from March to November.

Eric has also held significant positions in project management, architecture, and development. At productOps, Inc., they were a Lead Architect from December 2014 to July 2020, overseeing the construction of a data platform for a fortune 50 company. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at usport.co, responsible for aggregating player and team data and designing scalable database systems.

Eric co-founded Interface Vision in 2012 and worked there as a Developer until September 2014. Eric also built offshore development operations in Vietnam for Digication, Inc. as a Manager and Product Owner.

As the COO and Product Owner at East Agile from May 2010 to January 2011, they implemented agile processes and contributed to company growth. Eric has also lectured at RMIT International University Vietnam and worked as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant and Co-founder at IF Software, Inc. from 1995 to 2005.

Eric Hosick attended San Jose State University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In 2008, they pursued further education and enrolled at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Eric completed a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Learning in 2009. Overall, their education history includes a focus on Computer Science and Education. In 2009, they obtained the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Learning from RMIT University.
