John Mady

John Mady has a diverse work experience, starting as an intern at Schlumberger in 2005 and PSA Peugeot Citroën in 2007. John then worked at Shell as a Well Site Drilling Engineer and later as a Well Engineer. After that, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager. In 2019, they moved to Deliveroo, where they held the positions of Regional Head of Operations and later Commercial Director. Most recently, they became the Chief Strategy Officer at Rocket Internet Middle East and the Managing Director & Co-founder of Qlub_ in 2021.

John Mady attended Harrow School. John then went on to earn a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (with a year abroad) from Imperial College London from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, they participated in the Erasmus program at Ecole centrale de Lyon, studying Automotive Engineering. John later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IE Business School from 2013 to 2014.
