Toni Annala is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and co-founder and Chief Algorithm Engineer at QMill, where they work towards unlocking quantum advantage. They completed a PhD at The University of British Columbia, specializing in geometry and its connections to number theory and physics. Toni's extensive research experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University and an L.E. Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago, among other positions. In addition to their academic contributions, Toni has practical experience in designing quantum algorithms and has served as an External Consultant for IQM Quantum Computers.
