Hunter Hoogendijk is a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Manulife, specializing in backend development with Java Spring Boot and Python, as well as frontend development with React. They build scalable cloud-native systems utilizing AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Hunter previously held roles at QMIND as Director of Design in Finance and as a Consulting Project Manager, and served as a Software Developer Intern at Scotiabank. They also contributed to the Queen's Space Engineering Team as an Electrical Team Member and interned at GHGSAT in Operation Systems. Hunter is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering at Queen's University, expected to graduate in 2024.
