Ory Zik

Ory Zik is the CEO of Qnergy, a position they have held since October 2014. Prior to this, they were the founder and CEO of Energy Points, a company that developed and commercialized analytics for environmental performance. Ory was also the founder and CEO of HelioFocus, a company that developed the world’s largest commercial solar collector to replace some of the fuel in conventional power plants with concentrated solar energy. Zik’s career began at Quantomix, where they initiated, developed and commercialized WetSEM, a new imaging modality to visualize wet samples such as cell, tissues and blood in an electron microscope. The company was acquired by El-Mul technologies in 2006.

Ory Zik received their B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from Tel Aviv University. Ory then went on to receive their M.Sc. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, followed by their Ph.D. in Physics from the same school.
