Alejandro Caceres

Director of Computer Network Exploitation at QOMPLX

Alejandro Caceres has a long and varied work history. Alejandro began their career in 2007 as a Researcher for the Rice University Mathematics Department, where they worked on Melzak's problem for the summer. In 2009, they began working as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst for Total Intelligence Solutions, where they monitored hacker activity in various countries and wrote reports. Alejandro then worked as a Cyber Security Analyst for Digital Management Inc. in 2010 and as President & CEO for CAC Intelligence, LLC. In the same year, they also worked as a Computer Network Operations (CNO) Engineer for Lunarline Inc. In 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer and CTO of Hyperion Gray, LLC, a software development and R&D shop that worked with DARPA and Air Force Research Labs. In 2021, they began their current role as Director of Computer Network Exploitation at QOMPLX, where they and their team provide nation-state level hacking capabilities and software.

Alejandro Caceres received their Bachelor of Science from Duke University in 2008, with a double major in Physics and Mathematics. In 2009, they earned their Master of Arts from The George Washington University in International Science and Technology Policy. Alejandro also holds a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and Mathematics from Duke University, which they received in 2008.
