Maxime Laot

Maxime Laot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Maxime began their career as a Junior Consultant at BearingPoint in 2008, where they worked until 2010. Maxime then joined Groupe BPCE as the Deputy Head of Mission for Internal Audit, where they conducted multiple audit missions in various subsidiaries until 2014. Following this, they joined the European Central Bank as a Banking Supervisor, where they managed a team of risk professionals and assessed regulatory compliance until 2019. Currently, they are working at Qonto, initially as the Head of Risk from 2020 to 2021, and then as the VP of Risk & Compliance from 2021 until the present.

Maxime Laot completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at ESSEC Business School from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Hoche from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles in the field of Economics.

Maxime Laot has also obtained additional certifications. Maxime completed "Foundations for Data Science in Finance" at Advanced Risk and Portfolio Management in January 2019. Furthermore, they have pursued the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification, although the dates of completion for these certifications are not specified.
