François Nitenberg

François Nitenberg has a strong background in software engineering and engineering management. François is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Smoothwall since February 2023. Previously, they held the role of Director of Engineering at Smoothwall from January 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Smoothwall from February 2020 to January 2022 and as a Software Team Lead from May 2018 to February 2020.

Before joining Smoothwall, François worked at Qoria as the VP of Engineering from February 2023 onwards. François also worked at ARRIS as a Software Tech Lead from October 2017 to May 2018 and as a Staff Software Engineer from January 2016 to November 2017.

François began their career at Pace as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2014 to December 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Dassault Systemes as a Software Engineer from October 2011 to October 2014 and at Thales Defense & Security as an Intern Software Engineer from April 2011 to October 2011.

François Nitenberg completed their Bachelor's Degree from La Martinière Monplaisir in Lyon, France, from 2006 to 2008. François then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science with a specialization in Embedded Systems at TELECOM Nancy, from 2008 to 2011.
