Mark Post

Mark Post has a diverse background in the scientific and academic sectors. Mark is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at MosaMeat B.V. since July 2016, where they focus on developing cultured meat production methods. Prior to that, they held the same role at Qorium since March 2015.

Mark has also been affiliated with Maastricht University since July 2002, where they have held multiple positions including Professor of Sustainable Industrial Tissue Engineering and Professor of Physiology. Mark is currently a Professor of Physiology, while also serving as a Professor of Physiology at MUMC since 2001.

In addition, Mark has worked as a Faculty Member at SingularityU The Netherlands since August 2016, where they contribute to programs aimed at promoting the application of cutting-edge technologies. Mark is also the Owner of MPost Consultancy since June 2014.

Early in their career, Mark was a professor of Angiogenesis and Tissue Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology from July 2002 to July 2010. Mark also owned Biological Therapeutics Consultants Group, LLC from July 1999 to July 2003.

Dr. Mark Post completed their education at Utrecht University. Mark obtained their Bachelor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1975 to 1982. Later on, they pursued further studies and earned a PhD in Medicine from the same university between 1985 and 1989.
