Juan Gous

Juan Gous has been working in the software development industry since 2010. Juan began their career at Altech GDL as a Programmer, where they were responsible for Windows Forms development, ASP. NET development, database administration on MS SQL, security management on pfSense firewall, SAP Business Objects EDGE BI reporting, application end-user training, and network infrastructure implementation and maintenance. In 2013, they moved to SparePower as a Software Developer, where they managed and developed an inhouse ASP. NET application, migrated the application to Windows Forms using Entity Framework, created ad hoc applications to improve the business, worked with Pastel Partner SDK, and migrated to Sage Evolution SDK. In 2018, they joined Movation as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for development in the logistics industry, servicing a variety of applications ranging from simple data copy applications to fully integrated warehouse management suites. Theircurrent skills and knowledge include warehouse management, financial services and integration, SARS customs compliance, and B2B EDI integration. In 2021, they began working at Qorus Software as a Senior Software Developer.

Juan Gous attended Hoerskool Hans Moore from 2008 to 2010. Juan then pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In September 2020, they obtained the Cloud Application Developer 2019 - Explorer Award from IBM.
