Carl Schaefer

Carl Schaefer is an experienced engineer with a focus on microwave and RF design, currently serving as Principal Engineer and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Qorvo, Inc. since December 2009. Prior to this role, Carl worked at RFMD as a Staff RF Design Engineer and held positions at SierraCom and Raytheon Microelectronics, where responsibilities included the design and development of MMICs and multifunction modules. Carl's career began at Raytheon, focusing on MMIC and T/R module development for radar and communications satellite systems. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
