John Capwell

John Capwell is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on RF and microwave design and modeling. Currently serving as Principal Design Engineer in Advance Development at Qorvo, Inc. since July 2012, John specializes in cellular products and front-end switch modules. Prior experience includes roles as Design Engineer at RFMD, where the work involved module design for switch products and passive IPD designs on silicon technologies, as well as serving as Project Leader at Modelithics, Inc., providing component modeling and characterization services. John began a career in engineering as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida, where education culminated in a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in RF and microwave design.
