Mark Hrdy

Mark Hrdy is a Senior Process Engineer at Qorvo, specializing in the development of new PVD processes for SAW devices. They received their PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where research focused on reducing manufacturing constraints of metal-assisted chemical etching techniques. Previously, Mark developed inspection processes and R&D products for LED production at Cree, and worked as a Process Development Engineer at Silicon Metamaterials. In addition to their technical roles, they gained valuable experience in business development and technology analysis during a brief tenure at the UT Austin Office of Technology Commercialization. Mark's academic journey began at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science, emphasizing materials and civil engineering.
