Scott Smith has an extensive background in electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as a Manager in Design Engineering at Qorvo, Inc. since December 2018, after progressing through roles including Staff Design Engineer and Senior BAW Design Engineer. Prior to Qorvo, Scott gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida, focusing on SAW filter and sensor design for communication systems. Additionally, Scott completed a Substation Engineering Internship at Lakeland Electric, where responsibilities included designing relay protections for substations. Scott holds a PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Central Florida, completed between 2010 and 2018.
