Bennett Sprague is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in battery technology and systems engineering. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at QphoX, Bennett previously held significant roles at Tesla, including Sr. Test Engineer and Sr. Staff Product Support Engineer, leading validation testing and product improvement initiatives. Bennett also managed engineering teams at Tesla responsible for high voltage battery systems and conducted critical failure analyses. Prior to Tesla, Bennett worked as a Senior Engineer at Exponent, a Battery Engineer at Ovonic Battery Company, and a Research Associate at Arthur D. Little, contributing to innovations in emissions reduction and battery performance. Bennett holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University.
