Jeffrey Duran

Jeffrey Duran is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in operations, growth, and sales—15 of those focused in cybersecurity. As COO of QryptoCyber, he leads operational strategy and scalability initiatives that help organizations navigate post-quantum risk and cryptographic discovery. His career includes leadership roles in high-growth startups like Invotas (acquired by FireEye) and enSilo (acquired by Fortinet), as well as senior positions at Verizon and Army Cyber Command.

A 35-year U.S. Army and Army Reserve veteran with seven overseas tours, Jeff brings unmatched operational discipline and leadership to every initiative. At Verizon, he served as Head of Cyber Security Portfolio Strategy, shaping industry reports such as the DBIR and Payment Security Report. He continues to advise SaaS firms and is a recognized speaker on quantum security, operational efficiency, and cyber workforce development.

A strong advocate for veteran inclusion in cybersecurity, Jeff combines mission-driven leadership with technical insight to drive real industry change. His service has been honored with multiple awards, including the DoD’s highest recognition for defense communications.
