Simon McIntyre PFHEA is an educational innovator and academic leader specializing in the strategic use of technology and artificial intelligence to enhance teaching and learning. Currently serving as the Director of Educational Innovation at UNSW, Simon's notable achievements include leading the Academic Success Monitor (ASM), which received global acclaim for its use of AI in personalized student support. With nearly two decades at UNSW Sydney, Simon has also held roles such as Associate Dean Education and contributed to numerous large-scale educational initiatives. As a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Simon remains committed to advancing impactful, student-centered learning practices.
