Umesh Agarwal

Umesh Agarwal has an extensive work history in various technical roles. Umesh began their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in 2005, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at Keane in 2007. In 2008, they joined Bally Technologies as a Sr Lead Analyst, where they were responsible for task allocation, code reviews, and module implementation. Umesh then co-founded MyIndianStay in 2014 and served as the CTO. In this role, they designed and architected the web application and coordinated teams across cities. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Technical Architect at Aeon Learning Pvt Ltd, leading a team to develop CRM and online portals. Currently, Umesh is the Director of Engineering at QS Quacquarelli Symonds, where they develop technical strategies, implements new tools and technologies, and manages budgets.

Umesh Agarwal completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from the same institute.
