Alan McCarthy

In 1990 Alan began work in healthcare as CEO of Castlereagh Radiology. In this role he gained a wealth of experience in the provision of radiology services in metropolitan regional and overseas (Hong Kong and New Zealand). In 1998 Alan took up the role as General Manager of Mayne Diagnostic Imaging involving him with very large Diagnostic Imaging operations that included major tertiary centres public and private across Australia. Alan returned to corporate leadership roles in 2007 with Cardinal Health and Carefusion large American medical companies. In 2012 Alan took up the role of Managing Director of Philips for Australia and New Zealand. In July 2014 Alan returned to Alpenglow as the CEO and Director to lead Alpenglow to deliver its strategy of service improvement and expansion. Since his return he and the other directors have focused on developing a strong management team, which has enabled a transition of the business management from Alan to this team. Alan is passionate about ensuring that Doctors and patients in regional Australia receive an imaging service that is equal to or greater than that received by those in Metropolitan areas.
