Hal Rice

Hal Rice serves as the President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology since July 2025 and is a Non-Executive Board Member of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery. In addition, Hal Rice is the Director at the NeuTex Image Guided Therapy Surgical and Robotics Training Centre and an active Council Board Member at Griffith University. With extensive experience as a Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiologist at Gold Coast University Hospital since 2002 and as the Director of Interventional Neuroradiology at Pindara Private Hospital, Hal Rice specializes in the Endovascular Treatment of Brain Aneurysms and Neurovascular Disorders. Hal Rice also holds executive positions with Qscan Group and is an Associate Professor at Griffith University School of Medicine and Bond University Medical School, while contributing as a Gold Coast Business Events Ambassador since 2013. Educational credentials include a Neuroradiology Fellowship from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and degrees in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology from RANZCR and Medicine from The University of Queensland.
