Simon Button

Simon Button has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Simon is currently serving as the Group Chief Technology Officer at Qscan Group, where they oversee the operations and technology strategy of multiple radiology clinics across Australia. Prior to this, Simon worked at RSL Queensland as the Chief Information and Strategy Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Acting Chief Financial Officer. Simon also held the position of Founding Non-Executive Director at Hummingbird House Foundation. Simon's previous roles include Chief Information Officer at Shine Lawyers Ltd, Non-Executive Director and Co-Founder at Ozmota, and Group CTO/CIO at Benefon Oyj. Simon began their career at Voxson, where they held various engineering and leadership positions. Overall, Simon has demonstrated expertise in technology management and strategy throughout their career.

Simon Button has an extensive education history in various fields. Simon completed a Leading Through Digital Disruption program from Harvard Business School in 2018, focusing on Business Leadership. In the same year, they also undertook a Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Simon further pursued a Developing Blockchain Strategy program at RMIT University, specializing in Strategy. In 2010, Simon obtained an Executive MBA from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), with a concentration in Business Administration. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Computer Science from QUT in 1994. Additionally, Simon completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which covered Corporate Governance, Director Duties, Legal Environment, and Corporate Finances.
