David Pearlman

VP, Product at QSimulate

David Pearlman is the current Vice President of Product at QSimulate. David has over ten years of experience in the biotechnology industry, including positions at Schrodinger and The Broad Institute at MIT.

At Schrodinger, David was the Director/Product Manager of the Biologics Software Platform and a Senior Scientist. In this role, they were responsible for the management and development of the company's SaaS product. David also served as the director of customer experience, translating external customer experience to internal developer direction. As part of the executive team, David helped develop corporate strategy.

At The Broad Institute, David was a Computational Chemist III. In this role, they were responsible for providing pre-sale and post-sale support and managed the customer-facing support team and strategy. David was also a project manager for several milestone-based collaborative projects between the company and customers.

David Pearlman's educational career began at El Camino Real High School. David then went on to study chemistry at Stanford University, where they earned a B.S. in the subject. After that, they pursued a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. Finally, they completed a postdoctoral fellowship in computational chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco.

David Pearlman reports to Toru Shiozaki, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Garnet Chan - Chief Scientific Advisor & Co-Founder, Alec White - Head of Algorithms, and Charlotte Ward - Operations Manager.
