Jia Chen

Director, Science at QSimulate

Jia Chen is currently the Director of Science at QSimulate. Prior to this, they were a Postdoc Research Scientist at the University of Florida from January 2019 to January 2021. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York from July 2013 to January 2019, where they studied electronic structure of strongly correlated materials. Jia Chen has a Ph.D. in Physics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Jia Chen earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Fudan University in China. Jia then moved to the United States to attend Princeton University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry.
